Islamabad is the capital city of Pakistan. It is located in the Potohar plateau in the north west of Pakistan. The city has got its historical importance as it has been a part of the crossroads of the Rawalpindi and the North-West Frontier Province. The city of Islamabad was built during the era of 1960s. Islamabad has a favourable climatic condition. In comparison to the other cities of Pakistan, Islamabad is a modern and clean city.

The city is properly organized by divided into different sectors and zones. There are eight zones in Islamabad namely, the commercial district, the diplomatic enclave, the educational sector, the industrial area and some other divisions. Each of the zones and enclaves comprise their own parks and shopping areas. The famous Faisal Mosque is also located in Islamabad.
Compared to the other cities of Pakistan, Islamabad is a young city with fascinating tourist attractions and destinations. The lush city has much afforestation with pleasant climate. Islamabad is divided into several sectors and sub sectors. The sectors are given name with roman alphabets and numbers. Each of these sectors cover an approximate area of 2 km x 2 km. there is D sector which is still under construction. In the E sector mostly foreigners and diplomatic personnel are housed.

The housing scheme has been allocated by CDA for private housing schemes. The Anchorage is owned by the Pakistan Navy but the houses are accommodated by both naval officers as well as by non naval residents. The housing scheme has gathered huge demand because of the expansion of DHA Islamabad in the same locality. Though many homes have been built among which some are already accommodated still a good portion of the area remains still vacant. The housing complex is a nice place as it is away from the hustle and bustle of city and is enough green.
